Eloquence Photography

Eloquence started in 1991 with one photographer and its first wedding. Since then it has grown into a full time business assisting clients in the greater Dayton, Cincinnati and Columbus areas. It is our goal to provide the best possible service, images, albums, and personal attention in the business. Once a client books with us, we take special care of them to ensure their complete satisfaction.

The Photographers

Niki Jahns

As the owner of Eloquence Photography and a wedding photographer of 15 years, I am still honored each and every time a client chooses us. I always want the people we’re photographing to feel happy and comfortable while working with me or the other photographers. My philosophy through the years has been to provide high quality work, a fair price, and to give each client 110%. I like to have fun and, at the same time, give the client those special photographs that will make them smile with delight at each moment remembered—and be their very own “poems without words”!

Marv Israel

Being a photographer for Eloquence Photography is important to me not only because I have been an avid photographer for many years, but also because I get to work with my daughter. Since 2003, Niki and I have been capturing other’s special moments and I’ve loved every minute of it! Our photographing style and our philosophy is the same—to provide high quality photographs and to give every client 100%. When people ask me why I do this, I tell them, “I enjoy taking pictures of people just being themselves!”

OMG - Office Manager Goddess, Marney
Marney came aboard during an "OMG" moment and has been a sanity-saver. Eloquence Photography is expanding and she has been handling all the office work that goes with running a photography business: schedules, follow-up e-mails, advertising, newsletter & mailings, album design (yes, she's very creative!!), and most importantly, keeping track of stuff that I can't seem to find.

ID - Intern Dave
We received a phone call one afternoon from a UD student who is very interested in wedding photography. He said he's like to work for free in order to gain experience in the field- welcome aboard Intern Dave! He's a mostly self-taught photographer and has a great creative eye. The crazy wedding business hasn't scared him away (yet) and seems to find it more exciting than his current aeronautical engineering track. Long term goal for Dave is to have him train with us the rest of this year and start working for us next season.
